About me
I am a Cassazione-qualified lawyer based in Venice. I founded my practice in 2004 and for over twenty years I have been assisting private individuals, businesses, museums, art galleries, artists and foundations, both in Italy and abroad, in litigation and out of court.
I graduated in Law from the University of Padua and gained my early experience at Studio Legale Tonucci & Partners, working in international commercial law in collaboration with Penningtons Solicitors in London.
I teach art law at IED – Istituto Europeo di Design in Venice and Florence, collaborate with the Institute of Art and Law (IAL) in the United Kingdom and am a speaker at international conferences on the subject.
I hold the Diploma in Intellectual Property and Collections from the IAL in London, attended the Advanced Course in Art Law and Cultural Heritage at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, and the art law course at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art. I am qualified as a mediator and arbitrator, a member of BILA – British Italian Law Association, and I speak fluent English, Spanish and French.
Throughout my career I have built an international network of professionals and institutions in the field of art law, which allows me to assist clients with a multidisciplinary approach and a global vision. My passion for art — I am also a violinist — gives me a deep understanding of the needs of artists, collectors and cultural institutions.
